It’s the day the British invaded and declared the land terra nullius. I don’t see that as much reason to party. The only thing that actually makes me happy about today is that I get to sit and listen to the Triple J Hottest 100.

The whole enrolment process at the moment is just a reminder of how scary, exciting frustrating, and rewarding going to university will be. Fuck having lectures at 7pm, but you know what? At least it’s about something I love studying.

The downside of being alone a lot is that you have a lot of time to ponder life. It’d be lovely if for once, there was someone I had to turn to this late at night. Just to be with me. To talk, to comfort, to love. I haven’t found this yet, but I’m hoping it comes along sooner rather than later.
